The largest Brazilian manufacturer of adhesive tapes, ADERE reaches 30 thousand m² of built area, increases the number of employees by 13%, doubles production and triples storage capacity.

ADERE, the largest Brazilian manufacturer of adhesive tapes, inaugurated on April 1st the expansion of its factory in Sumaré-SP in an event that brought together more than 500 businesspeople from the national and international commerce and industry markets, as well as the Secretary of Economic Development of the State of São Paulo, Jorge Lima. The program, from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm, was filled with emotion, tributes, recognition and lots of information. Economist Ricardo Amorim, a reference in the segment, gave a talk that excited businesspeople and investors with optimistic perspectives for the country's economy.

 ADERE is a 100% national company, founded in 1967 and family-run. Management is currently in the second generation and follows the most modern corporate governance standards in its organization. Governance is based on "Members' Agreement" and "Council", from which its internal policies emanate, with emphasis on its "Code of Ethics and Conduct".

 In his speech, the brand's president, Luis Gustavo Dias, thanked everyone for their presence and praised the participation of the company's 340 employees, giving them the motivation for expansion. The founder of ADERE, Luís Gonzaga Dias, was highly regarded for his legacy, having received from his daughter Silvia Helena Dias Quaresma, a member of the ADERE Board, a personalized work of art in resin made by the award-winning plastic artist Stella Nanni.

 The celebration also saw the unveiling of the plaque marking the inauguration of the expansion by host Luis Gustavo Dias and secretary Jorge Lima. Then there was the consecration of Father José Cássio da Costa, from the parish of Nossa Senhora Aparecida, in Jd. Denadai, from Sumaré, who blessed the work of ADERE and the people who are part of the team.

Expansion

With the expansion, ADERE increases its headcount by 13% this year. According to Luis Gustavo Dias, storage capacity will immediately triple and production will double. The goal is growth greater than 20% in 2024.

After 57 years of operation, ADERE has more than 43 product families and more than 1,000 items that cover different markets, with its reach extending throughout the country and to more than ten countries. With the expansion, Luis Gustavo Dias expects to double ADERE's market share.

The expansion totals 10 thousand m² of structure. The industrial park now has 30 thousand m² built and includes a new area for its own laboratory, which is even more robust and technological.

The expansion works took 10 months to complete, in which R$25 million were invested, including structure, equipment and technology. The construction employed around 200 direct and indirect employees. In total, ADERE occupies an area of ​​150 thousand m² in Sumaré. In addition to the headquarters, the company has branches in Recife-PE (logistics hub) and Novo Hamburgo-RS (footwear sector).
